The Photo of the Day Competition is a daily event which is organised for the 80 000 + online members of PCA. This is the 3rd consecutive year of it being organised without fail. A panel of judges select the best picture from the various posts throughout the day and a winner is announced. At the end of the month the best picture among the entire POD” is awarded the photo of the month with a certificate from PCA and a gift from MANFROTO

    Photography Club of Assam is a pride of Assam. It makes us aware of the beauty of assam attracting tourist all over the country. Assam has enjoyed a reputation for unspoiled natural beauty, substantial biodiversity, tea plantations, and friendly people.

    The Brahmaputra, the lifeline of the valley which shares its name, floods the nearby land with fertile silt every year to ensure a rich harvest. It is bound on either side by marshy land covered with thick jungle grass, interspersed with patches of rice fields and terraced tea gardens.
